It is a visitor visa also named as a temporary resident visa (TRV). Temporary Resident visa is an official document that can be stamped on your passport as this indicates that the person obtained the visitor visa must meet the mandatory requirements needed to travel to Canada via any means of travel.

This requires a candidate to proof the following to the IRCC officer, in order to gain a favorable outcome in his or her favor.

• Valid Purposes including: visits as a tourist, visits to family or friends, and also to attend business meetings, conferences, or trade shows.

• Financial Capability.

• Proof of Strong Ties with the Country of Residence.

• Avoid hiding of information means complete disclosure information via all means.

Stay period

Once Visa is obtained then you can generally stay up to 6 months per visit with a valid visa.

Currently the expected processing timelines for a visitor visa under COVID circumstances is approximately 6+ months and may back to normal to 30-40 days once the Covid19 circumstances are in control.
